Chicago Neurodiverse Social Club

CAYR Connections is proud to sponsor the Chicago Neurodiverse Social Club (CNDSC). CNDSC is a neurodivergent-led grassroots community that brings neurodivergent adults together to make connections and build community. The club is intended to act as both a support group and a social club.

Who can join?

This group is open to any adult (18+) in the Chicago area who identifies as neurodivergent, which includes people who are officially diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or are still in the "wondering" phase.

Neurodivergent includes anyone whose brain differs from what is considered the "norm," including Autistic folks, ADHDers, people with Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities, Tourette's, Sensory Processing Disorder, or anyone with other developmental, mental health, or cognitive conditions. What’s important is that you consider yourself to fall under the "neurodivergent" umbrella and are seeking connection with people who share this lived experience.

What kind of events do you organize?

CNDSC events include support group meetings, game nights, hobby/craft nights, nights out on the town, and coffee chats. Let us know if you have an event in mind that you'd like to see!

Where do the events take place?

Locations vary, and we try to choose locations that are easily accessible by public transportation. Most of our events are held in Logan Square, Bridgeport, and Oak Park, but we hope to offer events across the Chicago area based on the group members' preferences.
